• The Story So Far...
   While politicians and special interest groups debated the effects of global climate change and pollution, no one paid attention to other signs of an impending doom. Earth, exploited beyond its means, could no longer sustain life.

Disease spread across the world when a series of storms and environmental disasters knocked out major utilities, food production, and waste treatment. The fragile societies of the planet toppled. The people of Earth started dying as available food and water dwindled away and the air grew toxic.

  Suffering from a century of apathy and neglect, the planet quickly became uninhabitable.

  Only the wealthiest and most powerful people escaped to the nearby Terra Luna space station.

  Humankind struggled to survive in the endless expanses of space. Old rivalries and eternal greed haunted the reborn societies. Yet, against all odds, humanity managed build the Mars Launch Facility and then expand deeper into space.

 
As the immediate solar system became populated, the ruling leaders divided the territories in to baronies and adopted titles as a baron or baroness.

  Commanded by a new power-hungry aristocracy, the solar system fell into a dark age of selfishness and greed once more.

 
When all seemed lost, the Baronage launched deep probes into space towards the Galactic Core, 30,000 light-years away from Earth. They discovered a plethora of untapped resources—ripe for the taking.

  The Corean Campaigns led crusaders to conquer new lands in the battle to control the mineral rich Core.

  Empires rose and crumbled in the quest to colonize the Galaxy until two Galactic Wars rocked the foundations of previous dynasties.

 
  Since the Second Galactic War, the excessive consumption of materials by the powerful minority has threatened the survival of humankind. Now, the unthinkable has happened again-- essential resources have passed the peak supply. Humanity must find new supplies or perish.

  It is a time of great strife and turmoil. Rival Pirate Barons struggle for the last resources of the galaxy to sell to the highest bidder. Pirate Barons employ thugs and galactic scum to fill their ranks, but their greatest weapon is the rare Kalsan Mercenary. Led by the Kalsan, roving squadrons plunder rusting space stations and pillage frontier colonies for riches and wealth.

  However, not all Kalsan choose to profit from the misery caused by the Baronage. A small group called the Kalsan Alliance carries a message of hope for a better tomorrow.
