The wife of the new Prime Mogul of J-san claims illustrious contacts in the theater, on the gameshow circuit, and among the stars.

In an age of distinguished and charismatic first ladies, Yuki Yatta – wife of the new Prime Mogul of J-san - seems poised to be a stand-out.

And that was before she started talking about her alien abduction.

It's been recently reported that Mrs. Yatta stated that she was abducted while sleeping many years ago. She claims the aliens flew her across the galaxy to Venus in a bright green, triangular spaceship. Though her then-husband believed it to be a vivid dream, she has always believed she was truly abducted. She also believes that the actor Motas Sale, film star of Impossible Complexity Trilogy and Top Pilot, knew her in a past life. Not only that, but she believes he was Asadian and not Kroy. She’s currently working on a Sparklestation script to star both of them, and believes when they meet he’ll remember her.

Supporters of the Yatta family initially tried to prove a link between Mrs. Yatta's alien tales and the Kalsan Alliance in order to soften the PR blow. Afterall, most of J-san believes the Kalsan are ancient spirits or extraterristrial beings because of their unexplainable behavior. But it's clear, from both the description of the aliens and the fact that her ex-husband was unaffected, that the Kalsan were not at work.

And Rubberneckers need not search for an obscure clip in which she mentions these intergalactic beliefs. Her account was published in a memoir she did years ago, entitled 'Quite Weird Things That I Have Seen.'

But while it has earned some snickers off-planet, widespread surprise hasn't come up in J-san. Its citizens have already been introduced to Mrs. Yatta's strange ways.

Mrs. Yatta's skill at charming the public, and uninhibited way of getting the attention of the press, paid off during the planetary election. She did everything from manage what her husband would wear, to getting up and “satellite walking” on stage.

Critic and admirers alike have given credit to her years as a Zukazuka dancer and working as television 'tarento' for forming her bold, self-confident personality. The Zukazuka troop is infamous for performing gaudy parodies of popular movies. Much like the Kickettes or Miss Kroy Holdings, fame comes from association with the group and breakout success has happened only to a select few. But all Zukazuka performers are remembered as dancers no matter where else they go in life. It was an understandable transition for Mrs. Yatta to take up work as 'tarento' or TV Talent, since on J-san ‘talent’ is expected to be the goofy color commentators on everything from dramatic movies to game shows. And Mrs. Yatta has parlayed that success into her careers as a macrobiotic chef and ‘lifestyle consultant’.

To outsiders J-san’s culture is like this new political couple: a mix between honoring tradition and a looking towards a bizarre future. But that cultural duality hasn't previously reached this high in the corridors of power. Certainly not for women linked to powerful men.  In contrast, the current crown princess Sakoa - a brilliant VanHard graduate with strong diplomatic ties to the Kroy - has been consigned to nothing more than the decorative role of imperial wife and mother.

But the new Prime Mogul was labeled as an outsider before the campaign, and won the planet regardless. It could be a mark that Asadian culture as a whole has become more accepting. And his mannerisms could have won him more than just political power. Because of her husband's odd dress, hairstyle, and eye-shape, he has taken on the nickname of TA - or The Alien.
