It was revealed today that the AIC used the services of SableSerum to form a secret government army specifically designed to target and kill Saleban operatives. While no reporters covering this story have expressed surprise that an AIC under Mogul Shrubb would be involved with underhanded activities, the level of the corruption is staggering. 
 
SableSerum, the private military consulting company, is not the first or only security firm used by the Kroy. It was one of 60 firms used to train Sanganistan’s police and provide protection after the invasion. However, SableSerum has a reputation for violence and intimidation of the populations they are hired to control. When they were brought in to bring order after Gale Cori’na, their heavily-armed presence caused fear and confusion. Operatives working with Kroy forces in Sanganistan were reportedly attacked and killed by SableSerum employees. But it was this company that the AIC reportedly hired to secretly locate and destroy terrorists at a cost of several million tax-payer dollars.
 
It is alleged that SableSerum’s former leader Regale King sent unstable employees to into dangerous situations. It is further alleged that King did this to increase the chance of collateral damage. King, highly trained by the Kroy military with deep political connections to the Haelan Separatists, has openly made disparaging comments about the Saliman world. Former employees stated that King believes himself chosen to wage global war with all Salimanites.
 
SableSerum’s emphasis on secrecy makes it hard to track or control. Employees claim that they must sign agreements not to speak to anyone about the company’s dealings. When a Kroy Baronet asked King to produce financial particulars of his company he refused, then insisted the request be on paper first. Counsel of Barons only learned of the plan’s existence after it had been cancelled.  Even the AIC insists that SableSerum was hired, but never under an official contract.
 
Yet even with proof of the company’s cleverness and resourcefulness, SableSerum never accomplished the goal they were sent to do. Published reports claim there is no record of SableSerum employees finding, detaining, or killing any of the Saleban leaders they were sent to destroy. But despite a lack of results and multiple criminal charges, SableSerum has not been expelled from Sanganistan. The new Sanganistani government has made multiple attempts to expel them, but SableSerum’s contracts with the Kroy forces will keep them in Sanganistan for at least two more months.
